About Me

I earned my PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where I trained in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I now direct the Biophysics Core at the School of Life Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University, while pursuing independent research.

With a background in physics and biology and over 15 years of experience in NMR, I develop and apply solution- and solid-state NMR methods to investigate the structure and dynamics of biomolecules, supramolecular assemblies, polymers, and functional materials. By combining NMR with AI-driven biophysical approaches, I aim to understand how molecular structure and motion shape the behavior of living systems and materials.
